Job Summary

DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:


The Front Desk Agent & Night Audit shifts provides superior customer care for all hotel guests, along with taking outstanding reservations for our future guests.

The front desk agent also checks and balances the shift records for accuracy and summarizes the day shift totals for the Night Auditor to check and balance.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Professionally greets our guests.
  • Manages the checkin and check out process
  • Monitors guest survey reviews, provides responses, and alerts management of any surveys that require followup.
  • Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities for the shift
  • Maintains accuracy of Sundry Shop items and inventory
  • Takes all room bookings for the hotel and qualifies any group bookings for the management to follow up with
  • Understand the principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.
  • Knows how to operate PMS, POS, and other front office equipment.
  • Will assist with the Morning Breakfast Buffett for guests wishing to partake in our breakfast offering.
  • Provides outstanding customer care as per company policy
  • All other duties assigned by the General Manager

Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have computer skills
  • Knowledge of numbers, however willing to train
  • Acknowledges this position is scheduled with a combination of mornings, and afternoons and covers overnights if needed.
  • Customer Service Friendly
  • Has basic knowledge of preparing breakfast items, however willing to train.
