Accounting Support / Bookkeeper

Novalex Auto Parts Inc.

is a leading brand in Auto Supply, and we are looking for automotive supply enthusiasts who enjoy helping others and have a desire to grow in the industry.

As an
Accounting Support / Bookkeeper, you will play an important part in performing all functions related to the Accounting Support and acting as a primary liaison to ensure we meet the business and client expectations.

You will perform a variety of accounting duties, including assisting in all areas of the facility, from purchasing, warehousing, E-commerce functions, and the development of processes for overall services.

You will help establish Novalex Auto Parts reputation as a premium supply chain that offers excellent customer support during all sales and after-sales procedures.

Responsibilities:

Bank reconciliation, Journal entries and other day to day accounting functions
Creating financial reports for month end
Preparation of financial statements
Maintain general ledger
HR/training/onboarding support
Yearend audit preparation assistant
Ordering office supplies
Workflow management
Database management
Other duties as required

Qualifications:

Postsecondary education in business or accounting at the college level or higher
3 years' experience in a similar, handson role
Prior experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Epicor
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Ability to work within a fastpaced environment
Motivated and ability to take initiative
Superior attention to detail
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Efficient in both an independent environment and as part of a team

Salary

Salary:
$17.00 -$22.00 per hour plus benefits and incentives depending on experience.
