- You have amazing attention for details and can effortlessly juggle multiple competing priorities while keeping a smile on your face
- Your customer service skills are top notch you can assess a customer's needs quickly and sell them a solution, providing all sorts of support to aid them in their buying decision
- You are a total peopleperson and can strike up a conversation easily
- You have an obvious passion for IKEA products and design, as well as our Sustainability commitment
- You have about 6month work experience in a highvolume sales or customer service environment
- You are totally cool working in a physically demanding, fastpaced, work environment
- You are comfortable with lifting up to 50 lbs (remember, it isn't continuous lifting and you can get buddy support if you need to)
A day in your life with us
- Assist customers in the selfplanning process or provide accurate designs and detailed layout solutions
- Provide visitors with a positive shopping experience by ensuring customer convenience standards in your sales area are met or exceeded
- Ensure merchandise is presented according to IKEA standards and is properly labeled and signed
- Adhere to inventory control procedures
- Train and coach apprentices on product features, services, customer selling skills and technical requirements
- Contribute to an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers
- Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur
