Job description
We are launching Why We Read, a community-driven storytelling initiative created in honor of the National Reading Year.
We are looking for an experienced WordPress developer to design and build a clean, modern, mobile-responsive one-page website using WordPress (Elementor preferred).
We are looking to hire quickly.
Platform Requirement
- Must be built on WordPress
- Elementor preferred (so we can easily edit content later)
- Lightweight theme and minimal plugins
- Clean structure and easy backend navigation
The website will include:
- Hero section (headline + subheadline + CTA buttons)
- About / Mission section
- "How It Works"
- Get Involved section (Google Form link or embed)
- Book Giveaway / Partner Form section (Google Form link or embed)
- Newsletter signup integration (EmailOctopus)
- Instagram feed integration
- About the Founders section
- Footer with contact info + social links
- Fully mobile responsive
- Fast loading and optimized
- Domain connection + SSL
- Clean admin handoff so we can edit text and images easily
- Finalized copy
- Brand direction (color palette + fonts)
- Google Form links
- Social links
- Inspiration examples
- Hosting access (Hostinger + WordPress)
We would like this completed within a week (faster preferred).
Please include your realistic timeline in your proposal.
