We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator in British Columbia:


Job Summary:

The project coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of projects.

They will work closely with project managers and team members to ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop Work packages for field execution and monitor the work completion

Team Coordination:

  • Schedule and organize team meetings, including preparing agendas and documenting meeting minutes.
  • Track the progress of project tasks and ensure they are completed on time.

Resource Management:

  • Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor resource utilization and report any potential issues to the project manager.

Documentation:

  • Maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
  • Ensure that project files are organized and accessible to team members and stakeholders.

Communication:

  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, changes, and updates.
  • Facilitate communication between team members and departments involved in the project.

Budget and Cost Tracking:

  • Assist in tracking project expenses and ensuring they align with the budget.
  • Report on budget status and assist in cost control efforts.

Closure and Evaluation:

  • Assist in project closure activities, including documentation of lessons learned.
  • Participate in postproject evaluations to identify areas for improvement.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining project calendars, preparing reports, and managing projectrelated documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business, project management, or engineering).
  • 4 years of experience performing similar tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (project management certification is a plus).

Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
