Compensation Package:
West Hill offers a valuable compensation package**:
- Base pay for an ECA will be $17.71 plus $2.00 PWE, totaling $19.71; depending on experience the rate of pay may change

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday, within the hours of 7 am - 6 pm
The Organization
Centres for Early Learning, fully licensed by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services and Toronto Children's Services, is made up of nine childcare centres serving communities in various high need areas of Toronto, Canada.
With programs for infants to children 12 years of age, our centres offer fun, educational environments that parents trust and rely on.
Our Education Curriculum is designed to meet the individual developmental needs of each child, including social, physical, intellectual, creative, emotional and self-concept.

The Role
The ECA teacher is responsible for educating, stimulating, influencing, and caring for the children
Their principle responsibilities include:
maintaining a high quality environment, assessing, observing and caring for the individual needs of every child, and maintaining open and honest lines of communication between parents and team members and always exemplifying professionalism.
Qualifications
- Uptodate First Aid and CPR
- Uptodate Immunization and 2 tiered TB test
- Confident and flexible in working with all age groups (Infants to School Age).
- Ability to manage children with challenging behaviours and communicate effectively with parents.
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Confident and flexible professionalism
Duties & Responsibilities
- The primary responsibility of the Early Childhood Assistant (ECA) is to support the RECE in planning and implementing a program and daily activities
- Works cooperatively as a team member, encourages others to do likewise, and consistently maintains a positive attitude.
- Report any issues or concerns that may arise in accordance with proper procedures.
- Supports the direction and participate with children in all planned activities.
- Use welldeveloped interpersonal, and relationshipbuilding skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff, and parents.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the classroom
