    About the Role:
    The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial services, including fixed assets, payroll, taxation, SOX, Leases, Pension Plan, and audit functions. This role also involves preparing accurate and timely financial statements, analyzing and interpreting statistical and accounting information to ensure profitability and performance against budget are within established guidelines. Additionally, the candidate will oversee the administration of the fixed assets, set depreciation schedules, approve acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets, and coordinate the preparation of the company's annual Fixed Assets Forecast and Budget.

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Manages the daily operation of the Head Office Accounting department in a hybrid work environment.
    2. Provides leadership and professional development to the team to fulfill departmental and company objectives.
    3. Prepares accurate and timely financial statements, analyzes and interprets statistical and accounting information to ensure profitability and performance against budget.
    4. Oversees the administration of the fixed assets, sets depreciation schedules, approves acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of fixed assets.
    5. Coordinates the preparation of the company's annual Fixed Assets Forecast and Budget.
    6. Safeguards the knowledge of confidential information and protects PCI from external and internal fraud.
    7. Assumes the role of window person for PCI payroll accounting, collaborating with PNA, external, and internal stakeholders as needed.

    Requirements:
    A Bachelor's degree with accounting specialization, CA or CGA/CMA preferred, with 7 to 10 years previous related work and supervisory experience. Payroll Leadership Professional (PLP) from the National Payroll Institute. Extensive experience with Excel, understand and create macros, multiple complex spreadsheets. 4+ years experience using SAP FI/GL and AP modules. General working knowledge of other Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word programs.
