JOB TITLE:
Driver/Warehouse
General Summary:
We are looking for a responsible delivery driver to distribute products promptly to our customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost effective manner aiming at increasing profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes
- Biweekly routes may include overnight stay with paid accommodations
- Follow route and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients' complaints
- Inform on new products and services
- Deliver equipment & products to Alberta cities, towns, and municipalities
- Vendor Inventory Management
- Complete logs and reports
- Follow regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a delivery driver
- Valid professional driver's license
- Customer relation & Interaction skills
- Good computer & tablet skills
- Handling of power tools & equipment
- Ability to work in group or individual settings
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good driving record with mínimal traffic violations
- 5 ton truck experience required
- Applicant must be 25 years of age or older
- Working hours Monday
- Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime hours will be required on occasions)
- Working hours per week: 40+ hrs (Morning start of 7:00 AM may be required)
- High school degree
