Description

We're looking for an
Excavator Operator to join our
Deep Utilities Department. Applicant must have Excavator experience. Competitive compensation up to $30 per hour is commensurate with the experience of the successful applicant.


Qualifications

Applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a similar role;
• Be able to read locate sheets and site plans;
• Demonstrate the ability to operate and maintain equipment;
• Be willing to attest to their physical fitness;
• Be able to take direction;
• Be flexible and function effectively with others or alone; and
• Take pride in the work performed.
• Have knowledge of workplace safety requirements and procedures.

Safety Tickets (e.g. Class 1, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space Entry, H2S, First Aid) are an advantage.


Responsibilities

The successful applicant will:

• Perform all tasks associated with deep utility services including, but not limited to
• Operating equipment,
• Shoveling,
• Digging,
• Lifting;
• Maintain the equipment and tools in good condition.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$24.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
