Longawaited Acres / Lach Sod Farms is a family run business operating since 1955. We are the premier mineral sod supplier for Winnipeg & area, serving both commercial & residential customers.


JOB PROFILE:

Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Equipment Technician is to work in a variety of roles throughout the year, primarily fixing/repairing equipment.

This is a very hands on role. We are looking for an individual with a lot of drive and self motivation, but also works well in a team setting

The Job duties include, but shall not be limited to:

  • Service/Maintenance, on various farm equipment, tractors, pivots and trucks.
  • Troubleshooting and preform repairs.
  • Operation of various pieces of farm equipment, depending on where the need arises.
  • Record Keeping (service records & supply inventory)
  • Maintaining a clean, organized shop area.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior experience maintaining/repairing equipment
  • Documentation skills.
  • Metal Fabrication skills an asset.
Wage is dependent upon experience & qualifications


Salary:
$26.00-$30.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
