We are looking for a
Flagger for our construction site at the university district in Calgary.


Responsibilities

  • Slow, stop and safely direct the flow of traffic at construction site
  • Hold up stop/slow signs
  • Set up warning and detour signs
  • Position traffic cones and barricades
  • Communicate with managers, drivers and workers
  • React quickly to potentially dangerous situations
  • Make notations of incidents
  • Follow safety procedures

Qualifications:


  • Possess flagger certification
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and in various weather conditions
  • Levelheaded and alert
  • Possess adequate eyesight and hearing ability
  • CSTS certification
  • PPE required (hard hat, safety vest, steel toe boots, safety glasses)

Salary:
$19.00 per hour
