Intended job posting audienceWe are looking for a permanent parttime clinic assistant to work 1520 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
The clinic is open between 7 am - 7:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7 am-5:30 pm on Fridays.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who enjoys working with patients and thrives in a busy environment.The position requires:
greeting patients warmly, scheduling appointments, answering phones, taking payments, writing receipts, updating information in charts and on computer databases, assisting patients to examination areas, and other duties related to assisting therapists and maintaining/cleaning clinic space and equipment.
Physiotherapy aide duties are part of the scope of this position.Qualifications include:
Customer service experience (retail, hospitality, restaurant) a strong asset. Further education (office administration, hospitality, business computer or other) an asset.
Fluency in English. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Reliable and punctual, excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task and work in a busy and positive environment.
Availability to work extra shifts to provide vacation and illness coverage as required.
Valid Yukon Driver's license and a car is a strong asset.
Interest in health, sport or physical activity is an asset.
The clinic is open between 7 am - 7:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 7 am-5:30 pm on Fridays.
Hourly wage is dependent on training and experience.
