Surrey, BC V3S 1Y1 Job title: Framers-Carpenters (NOC Number of Positions: 3 Start date of employment: As soon as possible Wages: $30/hour, 32 to 40 hours/week

Job Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.

Estimate costs and materials Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.

Requirements:
No degree, certificate, or diploma 1 year to less than 2 years of experience Language: English Work Conditions and
