Hiring Personal Support Workers & Developmental Support Workers Immediately
Do you have a passion for working with seniors?
Home Instead is currently looking for caring and compassionate PSW/DSW's to add to our wonderful team of CarePro's. We are currently hiring for overnight shifts including every other weekend for our Brantford, Paris and surrounding areas.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Companionship and conversation
  • Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
  • Medication and appointment reminders
  • Alzheimer's Care
  • Assistance with grooming and bathing
  • Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues

Educational Requirements:

  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
    OR:
  • Developmental Support Worker Certificate

Requirements:


  • Able to work flexible hours including every other weekend availability
  • Ability to lift, push or pull 25 pounds
  • Ability to treat & care for clients and their property with dignity & respect
  • Ability to adapt to various living environments & locations
  • Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly & congenial manner

Assets:

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • Bilingual

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Casual


Salary:
$16.00-$20.00 per hour
