OVERVIEW

  • The

Quality Assurance Supervisor ensures quality standards and procedures are met and aligned with industry standards and customer specifications by overseeing all elements of Quality Assurance across Emmerson Packaging's production facilities.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Process Owner (BPO) for the departmentspecific SAP module
  • Develops analytics to improve department efficiencies and monitor internal workload
  • Manages Emmerson Packaging's quality assurance policies, procedures, and audit controls to meet business requirements
  • Plans and coordinates the development, approval, implementation, and maintenance of Management System (MS) procedures and work instructions
  • Contributes to the implementation of process improvements to increase the efficiency, effectiveness, and quality of company operations
  • Facilitates quality improvement teams
  • Delegates approving and controlling authority for all Management System (MS) documents
  • Maintains records associated with the Management System (MS)
  • Performs Lead Auditor duties

REQUIRMENTS

  • 3 to 5 years' experience working in Quality Assurance role
  • 1 to 3 years' experience working in a Supervisory or Management role

PREFERRED

  • Postsecondary degree in Business or Engineering.
  • Working experience with management systems such as ISO 9000, SQF, or other international quality management standards.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working in the flexographic printing industry.
