Description
Responsibilities:
- Preparing, seasoning, and cooking a wide variety of food items according to specifications.
- Ensuring that all dishes are plated in an aesthetically pleasing manner with attention to detail.
- Keeping and maintaining kitchen equipment and workstation including cutting tools and preparation surfaces clean and sanitized.
- Observing correct food storage techniques including dating, labeling, and rotating all food items to ensure freshness and safety.
- Assisting in inventory control and ordering supplies as necessary.
- Complying with all relevant safety, health and hygiene policies and procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally
- Advanced knowledge of kitchen procedures, safety measures and hygiene practices
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$15.50-$21.00 per hour

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
