JOB SUMMARY
The role is responsible to administer and coordinate all learning and organizational learning initiatives. In addition, the role also serves as the LMS administrator. Responsibilities include enrollment activities, assessment and evaluation data analysis, and reporting.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development of the annual learning calendar
  • Administration of Learning Management System
  • Coordination of Learning and Organizational Development programming
  • Proactive managing of department mailboxes and other communication channels
  • Organization and stewardship of all Learning and Organizational Development content in a shared organizational data environment
  • Production of required reporting at planned and ondemand intervals
  • Leverage the potential of the learning management system across the organization
  • Keep current in best practices in the learning and development field through review and analysis of research and the monitoring of trends and best practices
  • Identify outsourcing relationships, develop and manage vendor relationships, and secure and select vendors through the organization's procurement processes
  • Provide support to other areas of the People Services Department on an occasional basis, as needed

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related field preferred
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a dedicated OD&L coordinator role including administrating and executing at scale LMS systems including report production
  • Functional competency in course authoring software such as Storyline 360, Camtasia, or similar is an asset
  • Strong ability to work supportively with leadership including with a process/program improvement orientation
  • Strong team and partnership orientation where able to work productively and effectively in a consultative and collaborative environment working closely with colleagues and internal clients
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work with strong organization, coherency, consistency, and handle sensitive issues with diplomacy and confidentiality
