As the Assembly and Service Technician, you will need to possess strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and be comfortable with meeting demanding shipping schedules.

Your attention to detail in the assembly and documentation of products is imperative for working within a quality management system.

The position reports directly to the Production Manager, and you will be an integral part of the team.

Your day as an Assembly and Service Technician include:

  • Providing mechanical and electrical assembly in accordance to the company's quality management system, which will require the use of adhesives, soldering irons, electrical safety testing and various tools within the facility.
  • Inspecting incoming materials in accordance with items masters, drawings and company quality systems.
  • Liaise with product development to implement design changes and new products into manufacturing.
  • Documenting NCR's, RMA's and product history in accordance with the company's quality systems.
  • Assessing and servicing products inhouse or in the field according to company procedures.

Required Qualifications and Abilities:


  • Diploma/Degree in manufacturing, engineering, technology or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience with mechanical assembly, electronic assembly, and system troubleshooting.
  • Senior Assembly and Service Technician
  • Minimum of three years experience with mechanical assembly, electronic assembly and system troubleshooting in a leadership role.
  • Ability to lift, pull and move parts with an estimated weight of 15 lbs.
  • The ability to read and understand electronic and mechanical drawings, BOMs and technical work instructions.
  • Knowledge of Electronics and Printed Circuit board assembly and troubleshooting.
