LEASING AGENT

The Leasing Agent reports directly to the Property Manager, and is responsible for performing leasing duties, general reception, clerical duties and various other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

At the direction of the Property Manager, perform all leasing duties, general reception, and office clerical duties as required
Receives telephone and walk in inquiries from the general public and provides direction and information to "walk in" traffic in a courteous and professional manner
Showing of suites, touring and amenities
Complete maintenance work orders as outlined on the "Request for Maintenance" form
Ensures that all unit turnover work, including cleaning and in suite maintenance repairs are completed prior to showing and/or occupancy by new tenants
Perform general filing duties
Ensures that adequate levels of material, office supplies, rental brochures, and floor plans are maintained in the rental office
Interacts with tenants in a courteous and tactful manner at all times
Ensures that the project is consistently wellmaintained and appealing in physical appearance and that marketing signs are easily visible and in good physical condition
Monitor and maintain an awareness and knowledge of the local rental market and in conjunction with the Property Manager, develop and implement various advertising or marketing techniques in order to maintain existing tenants and attract new tenants

Experience in property management, and previous management experience is an asset.
