Service / Lube Technician - Whitehorse, Canada - Norcope Construction Group

Description

Norcope Construction Group is looking for a full time (seasonal) service and lube technician to be based in Faro Yukon. This position will work 60-70hrs per week and there may be potential to transition into a permanent position at the end of the project.

Job duties:

Routine maintenance of onsite equipment ( daily greasing and 250/500hr services)

Diagnostics and execution of small repairs( Electrical, Hydraulic, mechanical etc)

Welding and operation of cutting torches

Routine reporting of equipment hours to maintenance supervisor

Organizing of parts lists required to complete repairs

Shipping / Receiving of material

Operation of Front end loader

Qualifications:

Valid Class 5 drivers license

Minimum 3 years previous experience in a mechanical / service capacity.

Must be able to lift 75lbs

Strong organizational skills

effective communication skills both verbally and written

able to work as part of a team and promote a positive work environment
