Description
Responsibilities:
- Establish and develop infrastructure for infectious disease surveillance and realtime tracking systems.
- Devise AI/ML models to forecast the evolution and mutation impacts of circulating human pathogens.
- Formulate computational strategies to identify and offer insights into optimal AI solutions for refining vaccine design.
- Analyze and interpret large biological datasets using machine learning and statistical techniques to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
- Utilize computational structural biology and deep machine learning models to glean insights and knowledge from complex molecular datasets.
- Collaborate with diverse teams, including molecular biologists, immunologists, bioinformaticians, and software engineers, to strategize and develop AI solutions for target identification, lead selection, and latestage clinical studies.
- Develop advanced computational methodologies in molecular modeling and protein/antibody design.
- Identify pertinent public datasets, methodologies, and strategies to enhance our internal database and address specific disease research requirements.
- Stay abreast of emerging science, technologies, and industry trends to drive innovation and enhancement in vaccine and oncology R&D through an AIdriven approach.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computational biology, or bioinformatics.
- Experience in structural biology, encompassing protein structure determination or modeling protein and RNA structures and interactions.
- Familiarity with antibody structurefunction relationships using computational design methodologies.
- Proficiency in at least one major deep learning framework (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience employing predictive methods to biological and chemical data for discovery or decisionmaking.
- Proficiency in constructing, building, and validating machine learning models.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computational biology, or bioinformatics, with substantial postdoc experience (or Master's with extensive related experience) in structuralbased drug design and drug discovery.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities, coupled with a talent for proposing creative and efficient solutions.
- Independent, selfmotivated, and innovative mindset, with the capacity to excel in a fastpaced, goaloriented team environment.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate methods and results clearly for collaborative enhancement of analytical approaches with leadership and the informatics team.
- Knowledge of deep sequencing, immune repertoires, and bioinformatic tools/methods.
- Experience in developing or refining vaccine design platforms for infectious diseases, particularly mRNA, viral vectors, and other advanced delivery platforms.
- Interdisciplinary research background, focusing on molecular or cellular profiling technologies for understanding human disease in academic or biopharmaceutical research settings.
- Experience in antibody generation and optimization in an industrial setting.

Pay:
$60.00-$87.02 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
