Duties and responsibilities

Get yourself and your tools to and from the jobsite daily.
Aid your work colleagues with layout, installation and maintenance of plumbing, gas and mechanical systems.
Operate specialty tools including hammer drills, angle grinders, Sawzall, chippers, blow torches, compressors etc. as per manufacturer guidelines and safe work protocols.
Read and interpret drawings, specifications and product data across multiple disciplines.
Work alone and alongside other team members to ensure projects are being properly completed to company and industry standards.
Operate specialty tools including hammer drills, angle grinders, reciprocating saws, chippers, blow torches, compressors etc. as per manufacturer guidelines and safe work protocols.
Maintain a clean workspace and organise the company's tools, materials and equipment as directed by your supervisor.
Follow direction from your direct supervisor and peers.
Properly handle, store and operate the employer's tools, equipment and materials.
Only complete tasks that you have been properly trained and authorized to complete on behalf of the employer.
Abide by the employer's health and safety policies and procedures.
Participate in the company's _
employee development program_.
Keep digital timecards up to date, daily.
Follow our company standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tasks and processes. Provide constructive feedback to allow the company to continually improve. You may be asked to participate in the SOP process from time to time.
Maintain clear and constant communication with your peers and office.
Adhere to WorkSafeBC safety protocols.
