Job Title:
Manager, Application Support

Location:
G3 Head Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Review and analyze the efficiency of the ERP and grain systems with business processes
Coordinate support for the ERP and grain technology solutions ensuring that the services provided to users are in line with industry best standards within the resources available
Acts as escalation point for grain system incidents or problems causing service impact to business operations and ensuring all service levels are met
Liaise with product owners, vendors and other internal stakeholders to plan upgrades, releases or patches of grain systems
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders in the design and implementation of vendor supported solutions
Must be able to manage timelines, project constraints, and deliver advice and leadership to support G3's ability to execute and sustain
Perform other related duties as assigned

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering, computer science, or related field is preferred
3+ years experience with SQL
Excellent writing and presentation skills coupled with strong analytical skills
Understanding of database schemas, JSON and XML structures
Excellent collaboration skills, able to graciously give and receive constructive feedback
Broad knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies
Bilingual (French) an asset

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS:
Relevant certification in an ERP technical or functional module will be an asset. Certification in use of specific methodologies such as Agile, or ITIL is required.

Integrations, data loading, transforming: Loading data, data source configuration and testing, configure transform map, scripting in a transform, managing large data loads, validation techniques
Good understanding of Master Data Management and the key tenets (e.g. Data Dictionary, Authoritative stores)
Good understanding of networking, systems, and communications protocols
