    • Work Term: Permanent

      • Tasks:

    • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
    • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
    • Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
    • Survey building locations and levels
    • Supervise other workers
    • Estimate costs and materials

      • Support for persons with disabilities

    • Provides physical accessibility accommodations (ramps, elevators, etc.)
    • Provides visual accessibility accommodations (braille, screen readers, etc.)
    • Provides auditory accessibility accommodations (transcription software, teletypewriters, etc.)
    • Participates in programs supporting persons with disabilities
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for persons with disabilities
    • Provides awareness training for a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
    • Applies inclusive recruitment policies for persons with disabilities

      • Support for newcomers and refugees

    • Participates in programs supporting newcomers and refugees
    • Assists with immediate settlement needs (housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.)
    • Supports social and labour market integration (access to resources, language training, skills training, etc.)
    • Recruits newcomers and refugees affected by conflicts or natural disasters
    • Supports newcomers and refugees with credential recognition
    • Offers mentorship programs for newcomers and refugees
    • Provides diversity and cross-cultural training for welcoming work environment

      • Support for youths

    • Participates in programs supporting youth employment
    • Offers tailored on-the-job training for youth
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking for youth
    • Provides awareness training for a welcoming work environment for youth

      • Support for Veterans

    • Participates in programs supporting Veterans
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking for Veterans
    • Provides awareness training for a welcoming work environment for Veterans
    • Recruits Veterans and candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives (job fairs, outreach programs, etc.)
    • Assists with immediate transition needs of Veterans (relocation, housing, etc.)
    • Offers workshops, counseling services, and resources for Veterans' transition into the civilian workforce
    • Supports Veterans in translating military skills into civilian job market language
    • Offers flexible onboarding for Veterans to adapt to the civilian workplace gradually

      • Support for Indigenous people

    • Participates in programs supporting Indigenous people
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking for Indigenous workers
    • Builds and maintains relationships with indigenous communities and businesses
    • Provides cultural competency training for a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
    • Facilitates access to Elders for support and guidance for Indigenous workers

      • Support for mature workers

    • Participates in programs supporting mature workers
    • Applies hiring policies against age discrimination
    • Provides awareness training for a welcoming work environment for mature workers
    • Offers mentorship, coaching, and networking for mature workers
    • Offers phased retirement options for gradual workload reduction
    • Offers phased re-entry options for returning mature workers
    • Provides workspace accommodations for the physical needs of mature workers
    • Offers retirement planning resources for mature workers

      • Support for visible minorities

    • Participates in programs supporting visible minorities
    • Applies hiring policies against discrimination
    • Offers mentorship programs for visible minorities
    • Provides diversity training for a welcoming work environment for visible minorities
