Your responsibilities

  • Ensure the As-Is shop both in store and online, is in excellent shape, fully stocked and presented commercially to secure a good customer experience
  • Ensuring that merchandising basics are in place and that we are steering towards the optimal sales channel, and that the IKEA product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers
  • Understand and leverage the different IKEA sales and communication channels and IKEA knowhow in order to make the best commercial use of this information for different customers
  • Take responsibility for assigned department's commercial goals and secure that established action plan ensures that any circular or commercial priorities are implemented in the affected unit
  • Follow up on sales performance and take actions to improve sales performance, by using proven solutions and good examples to identify improvement opportunities
  • Responsible for implementing & training department coworkers in commerciality and selling, with the goal of increasing commerciality and improving the customer shopping experience in the As-Is shop
  • Work closely with Selling Team and other functions on improving and optimizing internal product flows to Recovery to ensure optimal effectiveness (Range Change, Launch, Campaigns, Outgoing, etc.)
  • Promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with the team to understand how, together, you can contribute to sustainability and circularity
  • Support the product quality and safety work in the customer meeting point by reporting any potential issues accordingly. As well as to ensure all required product information and warnings are communicated to the customer on products sold through the As-Is Shop
  • Support the Product Quality & Recovery Manager by indirectly leading the team together with the other specialists, by assigning tasks and supervising the daily operations of the Product Quality & Recovery team when required.
