    Assignment:

    Part time 0.49 probationary teaching position combined with a 0.49 part-time temporary replacement teaching position

    Instructing as a Kindergarten Teacher Duties to commence August 28, 2024 and will continue for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year

    Qualifications and/or Assets:

    Experience teaching in a Kindergarten or division one classroom would be considered an asset

    Strong knowledge and ability to effectively implement early literacy and numeracy instruction through play-based learning

    Able to effectively communicate and foster relationships with caregivers

    Ability to vary instructional strategies to effectively meet a wide range of individual needs and abilities

    Strong interpersonal skills; able to provide direction for an Educational Assistant and create individual student programs in collaboration with an Educational Assistant

    Willingness to work in a team orientated learning environment and be a positive team member

    Effective classroom management that facilitates safe, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students

    Ability to effectively integrate technology and an understanding of 21st Century Learning Skills

    Commitment to ongoing professional growth
