Overview


In this position, you will play a key role in our student admissions process by conducting financial interviews, explaining financial options and completing required documentation.


The
Student Financial Administrator is a friendly, positive and energetic professional who demonstrates prompt contact and follow through, knowledgeable responses and respectful interactions.


The
Student Financial Administrator has strong interpersonal skills, a pleasant telephone voice, and ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.

Emphasis is placed on quality and compliance in the accurate completion of documentation and reporting as part of the College's Admissions process.


Key Responsibilities
Student Financial Administration (SFA role)

  • Conduct preliminary financing interviews with new students within 24 hours of contract.
  • Inform students of their financial obligation, the institution's financial aid options, and financial policies and procedures as related to their educational expenses.
  • Diligently followup, and ensure that Notice of Assistance (NOA), Confirmation of Enrollment (COE) documentation is in place at all times for each student, where applicable.
  • Time bound paperwork, feedback and submission of paperwork to relevant funding agencies like Manitoba Student Aid, Canada Student Loans, National Student Loans
  • Perform accounts receivable reports for overdue payments and verify results.
  • Process notifications to students who are overdue and follow up on payment plans.
  • Update appropriate systems to ensure the timely processing, funding, billing and collections of the package selected.
  • Monitor and follow up on the status of all pending student loan documents in order to maintain an accurate accounting of each student's financial aid package through first disbursement.
  • Attend and successfully complete all training for this position.
  • May participate in new student orientations, as applicable.
  • SFA support for both OneRobertson and Robertson Online
  • Student Loan payment entries into SASY/SF
  • Confirming Student loans for all provinces
  • Completing intake daily tasks
  • Fixing any discrepancies in SalesForce
  • Collections, posting payments & balancing accounts
  • Financial reviews for Reenrollment files
  • Exit interviews for all learners finishing their programs
  • Check and approve refund requests
  • Follow Up with funders invoices for payments (A/R)
  • EFT and CC processing and reconciliation
  • AR Aging for each campus' inactive & Active accounts
  • Withdrawals for Robertson College
