Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Evaluation Coordinator, the Data Analyst is responsible for the retrieval, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of data for the CancerCare Manitoba Screening Programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

At least 1 year of experience working with large databases
Experience communicating data and/or producing reports
Experience using statistical software such as SAS for analysis of large datasets
Ability to link databases and merge data from various sources, create tables with extensive date cleaning knowledge
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Strong organizational and problemsolving skills
Must have satisfactory employment record
Must be legally able to work in Canada

Preferred:

At least two years of experience using SAS
Previous experience working in a health care environment

Asset:

Ability to speak French
