- Manage rock tool inventory and track all new issues, discards, and losses.
- Utilize Rock Tools Management System to monitor and report on tools performance.
- Troubleshoot and provide technical recommendations and improvements to Supervisor and Sandvik Sales and Service Representatives.
- Produce and present monthly performance reports to customer operations department.
- Assist in training of customers and Sandvik employees as required.
- Report occurrences that may indicate improper usage or selection by operators.
- Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports.
- Stay current with industry, customer, product developments and technical best practices.
- Build sound relationships with the rock tools team, and internal and external customers to ensure smooth operations and participates in training of both clients and employees as required.
- Comply with SMC safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.
- Responsible for identifying and reporting any unsafe work habits, workplace incidents and / or near misses.
- Maintain hand tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain orderly workshop and ensure housekeeping requirements are met.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by manager.

- Completion of Secondary School (High school)
- Ability to work as part of an integrated, broad team
- Detail oriented
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Flexible, self-motivated with demonstrated initiative
- Ability to work with Outlook and Microsoft Office
