Description
Plan, coordinate, compile and file drug product submissions for federal, provincial and territorial drug plans for oral solid dosage forms to achieve successful listing of drug product for interchangeability & reimbursement by the respective drug plans.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain necessary documentation required to support provincial formulary submissions and to avoid deficiencies in drug formulary listings.
- Contribute to the launch of new products to the Canadian market and to assist in optimizing the Product launches.
- Liaise with Provincial Formularies on all aspects of the drug submission, follow up for review status and project updates.
- Prepare prompt communications for the dissemination of Product formulary listing, change in benefit status of drugs & formulary price change updates to internal & external teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to gain provincial and private formulary access for Auro products.
- Keep abreast of provincial and federal submission requirements as well as understanding of government reimbursement policies.
- Prepare new product pricing submission to the panCanadian Pharmaceutical Alliance (pCPA).
- Ongoing monitoring of provincial pricing for Auro products on the drug benefit formularies and ensuring pricing compliance across Auro systems in relation to existing/upcoming policy & price changes.
- Monitoring of provincial & territorial drug plans on regular basis to keep track of changing policies, regulations and guidelines and performing internal procedure amendments in line with the current regulations.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in market access/government affairs within pharmaceutical industry or related area in Canada.
- Experience in similar role in Canada is a must
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Woodbridge, ON L4L 8K8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Canadian market access: 2 years (preferred)
