Assistant Mgr Financial Management

**Description: - Permanent Full Time- The Assistant Manager Financial Management within Global Technology Finance supports the financial reporting, analysis, and operational processes for Global Technology (which also includes support to the Canada Technology team and Europe). This role is responsible for execution of month end and quarter end responsibilities inclusive of preparing routine and ad hoc reports. Additionally, this role contributes to the design, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operations of IT financial processes, procedures, controls and systems - in support of the evolution of IT financial practices. The incumbent will participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and facilitate accumulation of financial results.- We are seeking accounting professionals who are excited to contribute to the continued success of our organization through:

  • Working as part of a team to execute on financial management reporting and analysis
  • Financial management reporting includes executing on both routine activities and assessing stakeholder needs to deliver new views
  • Financial analysis includes impact analysis, variance analysis, total cost of ownership analysis, and affordability analysis
  • Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Interpreting and communicating key performance metrics and findings to influence IT decisionmaking processes in a proactive manner including business case development
  • Actively contributing to financial management systems design, implementation, and operation
  • Supporting monthend and quarterend financial processes and reconciliation controls
  • Supporting creation and maintenance of process and governance documentation

What you will bring

  • Professional accounting designation (CPA) or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and/or working towards an accounting designation
  • Minimum three years of directly related experience in financial reporting and analysis, communicating financial results, and supporting financial processes, policies, and controls
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and problemsolving abilities
  • Interpersonal skills; demonstrated through communication skills and building and maintaining collaborative partnerships across the organization
  • Attention to detail with ability to seek pertinent data, anticipate questions, recognize what is important, and look beyond usual methods
  • Customer focused with a positive outlook and the ability to adjust and adapt in a fluid environment
  • Effectively and efficiently prioritizes work assignments and anticipates/adjusts as additional priorities materialize
  • Initiative to act without prompting and generate ideas to recommend change or improvement
  • Optimism in the midst of change and flexibility with changing environments, tasks, timelines, and responsibilities
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $51,400*:
  • $85,700** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
