SIU Investigator - Part Time (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada)

The Investigator (SIU) position will involve the completion of assignments while gathering purposeful evidence/information in coordination with achieving client and Management goals, while doing so in compliance with the company's systems, policies and procedures.

As an SIU investigator, you will deliver quality and timely investigations through the implementation of best practices, uniformity and relationship building with our clients.

This is a casual/part-time position.


Education, Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 5 years investigation experience with demonstrated interviewing and investigative techniques
  • Previous Police, Law Enforcement and/or insurance claims experience an asset
  • Experience working with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Completion of Investigator training/course, diploma/degree in criminology; background in legal, and/or psychology an asset.
  • Possession of a valid Investigator license
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle and clean driving record
  • Must be fluent in English, fluent in French is an asset

Environment/Work Conditions:

  • While the incumbent must be teamoriented, it is imperative that he/she be selfsufficient and dedicated as the role of an investigator calls for much independence in the field.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours and days evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required
