The instrumentation and electrical services trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training that meets the needs of our external and internal customers.

In addition to delivering training, he assists supervisors in the optimal development of new technicians using development plans that adapt to market changes.

He also performs all related tasks relating to the requirements of the position.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

Work closely with the Service Director, Supervisors, Sales Group (BDM, O/S, TSS) and our customers to support the training needs for all parties.
Set up various development plans (training, mentoring, exams) according to technician profiles and ensure that knowledge improvement objectives are achieved.
Participate in the integration process for new employees.
Ensure that Laurentide Controls health and safety policies are properly applied during handson learning.
Identify and promote the emergence of future technical leaders or the ability to be multispecialist among our technicians.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL

Strength in developing and communicating clear training plans aligned with our objectives.
Concern for the satisfaction of external and internal customers.
Pedagogy, team spirit, autonomous, dynamic.
Experience in a technical training role in an industrial plant or in an education center is essential.
Experience in instrumentation and electrical services on the road, an asset.
Ability to establish interpersonal and business relationships with clients.
Willingness to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
Passion and integrity with the desire to have a strong and positive impact on the achievement of the company's objectives.
Written and spoken bilingualism (English and French).

WORK LOCATION:

Variable between the Kirkland office (training in our facility, material preparation), at home (content development, admin) and on the road (training on client site, on-site mentoring).
