  • QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
    Description

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of an ICP (Intermediate Care Paramedic)/ACP (Advanced Care Paramedic) program from an approved school.
  • A min. of 2 years' experience as an EMT-P/ACP, EMT-A/ICP.
  • Current license with the Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.
  • Current Instructor level certification in International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) and CPR.
  • SaskPolytech Simulation Lab Basic Operator
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public.
  • Experience facilitating Emergency Health Care students in a preceptor based practicum.
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience facilitating online courses
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity
  • Preference will be given to current Saskatchewan Polytechnic faculty
