The opportunity:

Reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Solution Delivery - BA/QA, the Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for managing the coordination and execution of testing efforts to ensure delivery of quality digital products and data.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will work in close co-operation with the solution delivery team including Project Management, Engineering/Development and Business teams.

Key responsibilities include:

Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents & providing feedback to the Business Analyst.
Ensuring that newly implemented system features, or enhancements meet user needs.
Participating in meetings, walkthroughs, and presentations of new features as well as changes to existing functionality.
Supporting the BA team with the maintenance of Requirements Traceability Matrix; Support trace test cases/scripts (manual and automated) to requirements / stories.
Developing and executing Test Automation Framework and Automated Test Cases.
Supporting the QA lead with the Defect management activities.
Participating in Defect triaging & ensuring the right priority is assigned to defects.
Reporting on open/closed defects to the QA Lead / Project Manager.
Ensuring all major defects are closed and sign off is provided.
Performing other duties as assigned.
5 years software testing; experience in both, waterfall, and agile methodologies.
5+ years of strong knowledge of endtoend test methodology (test strategy, test plan, SDLC, defect management and test reporting metrics)
A solid foundation in systems testing and software QA best practices, methodologies, and techniques
Proficiency in Java or Java Script test frameworks such as TestNG, Selenium, Cypress etc.
Proficiency in creating test scripts using the Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber Java or Cucumber JS.
Knowledge of API/REST testing, test frameworks, and tools such as Postman, Apache JMeter.
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation, facilitation, analysis, and problemsolving skills.
An ability to work diligently and urgently on time sensitive matters.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines and priorities.
Prior experience in the wealth management industry would be an asset.

Conditions of Employment:

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
