The Opportunity:


In collaboration with Peel CAS, we are seeking an Arabic speaking Registered Psychotherapist or Social worker, with experience providing assessment and counselling services for youth (6 to 18 years old) and their families.


  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Support referrals from Peel CAS, virtually from a private practice in Peel Region-
  • Provide assessments & counselling to pediatric clients & their families dealing with complex life challenges including mental health, addictions, social exclusion, and involvement with the justice system-
  • Use evidence-based techniques and interventions to help clients overcome emotional and behavioral challenges.-
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the needs of each client.-
  • Work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that the clients receive the best possible care.-
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sessions, treatment plans, and progress reports.-
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards of practice.-
  • Attend meetings and trainings as required.-
  • Meet with an external supervisor to ensure ethical practice and quality client care

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • Registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW.
  • Trained & certified in Play Therapy, registration with CAPT considered an asset
  • Knowledge of evidencebased techniques and interventions for children and teenagers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and uptodate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Private practice located in Peel Region & knowledge of resources in area
  • Minimum of 4 hours/week of availability for direct client sessionsWhere permitted by law, company employees must be fully immunized to access a TELUS Health office or customer premises.
