Girl Guides of Canada–Guides du Canada (GGC) is actively seeking three Lifeguards for a weeks Contract with a Start date of June 1, 2026.The Lifeguards will support boating activities and water safety at the lakefront from 9 am to 4:30 pm daily, with scheduled breaks and lunch.
The waterfront staff are responsible for planning and implementing events such as the weekly regatta day.
Responsibilities
- Water tests: A list of campers is provided to the waterfront staff who must do one or a boat test.
- Lifeguards are scheduled to guard the waterfront mornings each week at 7 am for the Early Morning Dip - a favorite camp challenge of the campers.
- Camp life: Waterfront staff work as a team at the lakefront from 9 am to 4:30 pm daily,, responsible for organizing games, songs inside Stavert Lodge or inside the boat house when weather is not good for water activities.
