Hours:
Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri 7:30 - 15:00 // 37.5 hours per week

Hourly Wage:
$31.41 as per collective agreement


The Role:


The manager ensures a range of community-based day services to assigned participants, including: education, recreation, life skills and volunteering opportunities.

They will design person centered programming schedules, facilitate behavioural support assessments, and monitor support plans. Additional responsibilities include providing leadership, staff management, and facilitating training as needed.

Requirements/Education/Experience:


Education & Experience:


  • Degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Business Administration, Management for Non-Profit, and/or degree or diploma in areas directly related to supporting people with developmental disabilities.
  • Minimum one year direct experience with adults in a community setting.
  • Two years' experience in staff supervision, operational management, and budget administration.
  • Preferred experience in the area of individualized service planning and behaviour management.
  • Strong interpersonal communication & team building skills.
  • Demonstrated competence in written and oral communication.

Standard requirements of the Manager include:

  • Criminal Record Clearance and Medical Clearance
  • Valid First Aid & CPR
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Unrestricted Class 4 Driver's License, or must be willing to obtain a class 4 unrestricted Driver's license, with use of vehicle for work
  • Demonstrated competency in English
  • Eligible to work in Canada
  • This position is open to male and female applicants.
