About the Role

The Technical Project Manager 3 supports the delivery of mission‑critical technical projects spanning Technology, Data Science and Product Management functions. The role is accountable for end‑to‑end delivery execution – planning, coordinating, and monitoring of complex technical projects to ensure delivery within agreed timelines, scope, budget, and quality standards.

The role owns delivery planning – including creation and maintenance of detailed project plans, defining milestones, sequencing of work, dependency management and clarification of roles and responsibilities across contributors. Operating in close partnership with Product Management, the role is responsible for translating roadmap into executable delivery plans, coordinating delivery across engineering, data science, and go‑to‑market stakeholders. While Product Management defines "what" and "why," this role owns "how" and "when" delivery occurs, ensuring alignment between roadmap priorities and execution reality. Formal project management training or certification (such as PMP) is valued but is not required for success in the role.

The Technical Project Manager 3 prepares and maintains core project documentation, including project plans, delivery schedules, risk and issue logs, status reports, meeting minutes, and decision records. The role provides structured, concise delivery updates to senior stakeholders on a regular cadence (weekly and monthly), builds and maintains dashboards and project health reports that clearly articulate progress, risks, trade‑offs, and required decisions.

The impact of this role is improved on‑time delivery performance, increased delivery predictability and clarity across cross‑functional teams, and sustained alignment between technical execution, business priorities and customer outcomes. The role interfaces closely with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, Data Science leaders, Customer Success teams, and Senior Leadership, coordinating timely delivery across organisational boundaries.

What You'll Bring

• Full Lifecycle Project Management – Demonstrated experience leading full lifecycle project management – planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of complex technical projects, including scope control, scheduling, change management, and delivery validation.
• Software Delivery – Strong understanding of software development life‑cycle, cloud platforms, DevOps and project management practices with agile, scrum and hybrid software delivery models. Familiarity with CI/CD, SaaS delivery model.
• Project Management Experience – 5+ years of experience delivering complex, cross‑functional technical initiatives in a technology‑driven environment, including ownership of delivery planning, dependency coordination, risk management, and executive‑level reporting across multiple teams. High adaptability with ability to manage multiple projects in fast‑paced software organisations with evolving requirements and competing priorities is required.
• Stakeholder Alignment and Reporting – Demonstrated ability to align engineering, product, data science, customer success, and senior leadership stakeholders through structured communication, regular delivery cadences, and clear articulation of delivery constraints, risks, and trade‑offs. Strong communications skills to interact with technical and non‑technical teams.
• Project Governance and Documentation – Proven ability and experience in adopting, maintaining project governance best practices and tailoring process for efficiency and scale. Adept at developing and maintaining up to date project artifacts, delivery status reporting, and decision documentation to support transparency and accountability.

What You'll Do

• Project Planning & Execution – Develops and maintains detailed project plans, translates requirements into executable work streams, manages dependencies and sequencing, tracks progress against milestones, and drives day‑to‑day execution to ensure delivery commitments are met within agreed scope, timeline, and quality constraints.
• Project Management Tooling – Advanced proficiency in the use of project management tools (Jira, Confluence, Asana) to manage work plans, dependencies, and delivery visibility across multiple concurrent projects.
• AI‑Enabled Workflow Development – Designs and operationalises AI‑enabled project management workflows, including experimentation of custom GPTs and agent‑based solutions, to reduce low‑value administrative work, improve output quality, and accelerate high‑value delivery.
• Dependency, Risk, and Change Management – Actively identifies and maintains risk registry and cross‑team dependencies across engineering, data science, and go‑to‑market functions. Monitors delivery risks and execution issues, coordinates mitigation actions and escalates blockers and change impacts in line with established governance.
• Communication & Stakeholder Management – Communicates delivery plans, progress, risks, and dependencies clearly and concisely to cross‑functional teams and stakeholders. Facilitates structured project discussions, ensures shared understanding of priorities and constraints, and supports timely decision‑making through accurate, transparent delivery communication.

About Our Process

Our selection process is designed to rigorously assess a candidate's depth of technical knowledge, problem‑solving ability, and alignment with Behavox's mission and core values.

As part of the process, candidates will first participate in a series of interviews focused on evaluating their technical expertise and engineering judgment. Candidates who successfully progress through these interviews will then be invited to complete a live technical exercise with a group of Behavox engineers and engineering managers. The purpose of this live technical assessment is to validate the candidate's stated technical competencies and assess their ability to solve complex problems with speed, accuracy, and sound engineering judgment. Note that whenever possible, we aim to conduct interviews in person at our offices.
