Grand Erie District School Board represents more than 27,000 students in 58 elementary schools and 14 secondary schools within the City of Brantford and the counties of Brant, Haldimand and Norfolk, as well as students from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Social Work is required; verification of postsecondary education (degree or original transcript) will be required
- Registered member of Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers in good standing is required
- An understanding of evidence based mental health promotion, prevention, interventions for children and youth is preferred
- Knowledge of evidencebased practices and assessments to support crises, traumatic events, risk and postvention for students, staff and families is preferred
- Knowledge of counselling modalities effective with children and youth is preferred
- Experience with inperson and virtual support for children and youth
- Experience working in schools is preferred
- Knowledge of local community resources and system navigation is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively is required
- Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team is required
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license is required
- Must be proficient in the use of computers

- As soon as can be mutually arranged to June 28, 2024, or until current incumbent returns
