The Job

• Pick up/drop off dogs from their home
• Transport safely to the trail or beach
• Walk up to 6 dogs safety on leash and monitor off leash play
• Return dogs home with a towel off and water refresh
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in your care.
• Engage with dogs in a positive and stimulating manner.
• Keep accurate records of daily walks and any unusual behavior.
• Provide daily walk reports to clients through our client system

Requirements:

• Passion for dogs and a strong understanding of their behavior.
• Physically fit and able to walk for extended periods in all weather conditions.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Previous experience with dogs
• Strong communication skills.
• Clean driving record
• 1 year commitment
• Clean background check
• Reliable phone with a data plan
• Pet first aid is a plus

Physical strength and stamina: You must be able to handle larger dogs if needed and keep control of a leash if a dog pulls. You must also be able to be on your feet and walk for extended periods of time in all weather conditions.
