Mind Connections is an Ontario based multi-disciplinary rehabilitation company, providing services to severely injured individuals including ones with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, severe orthopedic injuries and mental health issues.
Our team comprises of neuro-surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, psychiatrists, physiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech language pathologists, dietitians, rehabilitation support workers and personal support workers working collaboratively with the clients.
Speech-Language pathologist complete swallowing and cognitive-linguistic assessments for our clients. and provide treatment to the clients in their environment to maximize the functional performance of our clients.

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Speech-language pathologist to join our team.
Qualifications:
- Entry level Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language pathology
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Critical thinking and decision making skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Experience working under the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) will be considered an asset.
Responsibilities will include:
- Providing swallowing and cognitivelinguistic assessments using standardized assessment tools
- Formulating treatment plans using evidencebased information, relevant best practice guidelines and clinical expertise
- Actively engaging clients, families, and caregivers in treatment programs to address client centered goals
- Linking clients/caregivers with appropriate community partners/services/agencies
- Evaluating and documenting the effectiveness of the intervention, client's response, and progress towards goal attainment
- Completing clinical records according to college standards
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, referral sources including team members and office staff.
