A Day in the Life


As a Training Lead, you will play an important part in leading the training team by ensuring all functions related to onboarding and training with in-house NRI Trainers and employees are met.

The training lead helps create and demonstrate the NRI team spirit while focusing on delivering outstanding team member experience, best practices, safety, and SOP compliant aid.

You'll be working with products from some awesome clients that are heavily involved in the active lifestyle.

Monday - Friday 7AM - 3:30PM

  • Experience in continuous improvement tools/methodologies to drive customer fulfillment, quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Experience in leading and training Trainers to ensure all assigned activities are performed effectively and efficiently.

The Must Haves:

  • Must have 2+ years of prior experience in warehousing/light industrial, experience as a Lead is a plus
  • Must be proficient with or willing to learn Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint).
  • Must have physical ability to carry out essential job functions, including but not limited to, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., walking and standing for extended periods, climbing ladders/stairs, ok with heights in elevated areas and tolerating conditions such as dust, dirt, noise, odors, heat, cold, etc.
Things You Will be Doing

  • In collaboration with the Training Supervisor, communicates expectations to trainers and monitors the daily performance.
  • Exhibit and practice positive communications and teambuilding skills with trainers and trainees to ensure a consistently professional environment.
  • Ensures training, crosstraining, and retraining in individual or group settings for new employees and temporary associates is provided within the training goals.
  • Provides training of the Trainer program to Trainer Students and ensures there is training, crosstraining and development of team members.
  • Ensure trainers document each training process and provide followup for refresher training courses to employees who are not meeting the goal.
  • Aid in creating the training methods, program, and continuous improvement projects, while also providing feedback to the Training Supervisor in ensuring all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are current.
  • Participate in the upkeep and coordination of operational SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), Checklists and Client Job Aids.
  • Follow NRI Safety Rules, Safety Procedures, Security Protocol and Standard Operating Procedures and report any unsafe acts to the Operations Supervisor and the Safety Manager.
  • Function as a team member within the department and, as required, perform other duties as assigned.
