Role and Responsibilities


Part of operational excellence global organization and as a change management group lead, you oversee, develop and engage high-performance team.

You are responsible of delivering adoption of transformational and strategic change initiatives as well as transferring the change in the business unit.

You are the owner and guardian of the methodology and will be responsible for advancing the maturity of the team.

Your role is crucial for the adoption of a common language across the company and the entire community by fostering standardization of the service offered to our internal clients.

You will be called upon to think outside the box to find innovative alternatives to the change management practice in achieving organizational transformation results.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead a bestinclass change management team committed to exceeding customer needs and being role model for customer centricity.
  • Coach, and supervise the change management team: plan, organize, and manage the department to drive results.
  • Establish and facilitate communication within the team to manage interdependencies between projects.
  • Foster psychological safety, wellbeing, collaboration, and team engagement.
  • Develop the strengths of each team member and identify areas for improvement.
  • Establish, develop, and respect budgets related to change management support activities.
  • Positioned the team and leverage change management effort aligned with CAE strategic priorities and impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform evolution watch related to industry trends, best practices.
  • Create and maintain an internal community of practice in which create a safe place for experience sharing and learning.
  • Uses widerange experience and professional concepts to resolve complex problems and increasing demand in creative and effective ways.
  • Constantly adapt and challenge the approach in a technology era.
  • Define specification performance criteria and key success factors to improve the methodology and service offering.
  • Report status and key performance indicators to management.

Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree in management or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience, 5 years in change management and 23 years of managing a team.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage change and help others deal effectively with change management initiatives
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills
  • Demonstrate strong problem solving, planning, organizing and decisionmaking skills
  • Strong leadership and influence role in many levels of leadership
  • English and French written and spoken
  • PROSCI or CCMP
  • PMP an asset
