Position:
Grand Porter Logistics is seeking a full-time Customer Service/Account Associate to join our winning team in Waterloo, ON.
Polished and professional verbal and written customer support is required in this position to quickly respond to customer inquiries, offer shipping solutions, resolve issues, and follow up with internal and external resources.
Excellent and concise data entry required as well as a commitment to follow up and follow through from pick up to destination.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, required. College degree preferred.
- One to two years of experience in a customer service role, preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a fastpaced environment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Superior customer service practices and procedures required.
- Ability to maintain professional and represent the Grand Porter brand at all times.
- Knowledge of logistics services and systems preferred, but not required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide shipping and warehousing solutions to meet customers individual and specific needs
- Create orders and quotes.
- Create and maintain clear and concise records.
- Track and trace orders and update records.
- Liaise betwen carriers, drivers, shippers and receivers.
- Assist customers with issue resolution when required.
- Follow up with customers after resolution of issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain records of customer interactions, issues, and transactions through order entry and record keeping in internal systems.
- Oversee and manage specific special accounts as assigned.
- Order office supplies as required.
