    Description

    Mechanical Engineer - Buildings

    Located in North York our client is an established engineering consultant in the building systems sector. They are currently executing projects for large commercial and institutional projects across Canada and the US.

    This is a permanent job opportunity with opportunity for career advancement. They offer health benefits, RRSP, and regular social and team-building events

    Primary responsibilities:
    • Directly work with key stakeholders, developers, clients, project managers, electrical engineers, architects
    • Selection of equipment, building and construction materials,
    • Develop HVAC system, piping layouts, Fire protection, acoustics, Fenestration, cladding plans
    • Visit sites to ensure project design and construction execution are in compliance
    • Knowledge of LEED and ASHRAE
    • Assist with estimates and contract administration.
    Qualifications
    • Mechanical Engineering B.Sc
    • Registration with PEO
    • Revit & AutoCAD Experince
