• Contract Duration 4 years

• eHealth Business Enterprise Strategist supports the integration blueprint and frameworks for EMR, MyHealthNB, Gateway Services, and other IEH business and application requirements;
• Assist and support eHealth Projects and Operational Teams with integration and functional strategy and design to ensure alignment with IEH integration and functional goals, principles, and standards;
• Develop integration and functional requirements, standards, and guiding principals for MyHealthNB, NB Gateway Services, and other IEH Services;
• Conduct a review and update of all Integration and functional deliverables including Messaging Specifications, Integration Testing Strategies, Integration Testing Plans, Conformance Plans, Implementation Guides, Business Process Models, and Enterprise Function Diagrams.
• The Enterprise Business Strategist may also be called upon to provide content for integration and functional deliverables;
• Regularly communicate with the appropriate EA representative(s);
• Ensure business alignment for the integration solutions are aligned with New Brunswick's eHealthNB platform;
• Assist in the planning and implementation of Solution(s) as well as the DH digital transformation strategy.

• Integration requirements include functional and non-functional requirements needed to support the MyHealthNB solution within the context of eHealthNB and Gateway.
• Integration Architecture is the blueprint schematic of the MyHealthNB solution and alignment of eHealthNB and Gateway. The Integration Architecture should include the proposed layout and lines of communication between the various critical and ancillary components that make up the solution.
• Integration Standards will drive industry best practices and best-of-breed solutions to support MyHealthNB and other Innovation and eHealth solutions.
• This could include but is not limited to standards for communication and integration for MyHealthNB specifically and other Innovation and eHealth solutions. MyHealthNB integration standards need to align with Gateway and eHealthNB standards.
• Guiding principles for the MyHealthNB solution will help guide the selection of incorporated packages and component specifications.
• Flow charts to model the steps of a planned business process from end to end; visually depicting a detailed sequence of business activities and information flows needed to complete a process.
• EFD (Enterprise Function Diagrams) is a used modeling technique for the representation of enterprise functions and corresponding interactions. Different business processes can be modeled in these representations through the use of "function modules " and triggers.

• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of IM/IT experience
• A minimum of six (6) or more years of demonstrated experience as a lead Enterprise Business Strategist on medium to large complex system development or COTS implementation projects in the Digital Health space.
• Exceptional knowledge of, and experience with, Enterprise Master Patient Index solutions demonstrated through a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must be available to work in Fredericton, NB upon assignment of contract

• Demonstrated capability of managing/leading a team of specialists, technical analysts, developers, business analysts, and testers.
• Demonstrated experience in the development of Integration and Functional deliverables
• Demonstrated experience in delivering enterprise-managed integration services and processes, that can be applied to multiple clients/solutions.
• Demonstrated experience standing up and delivering functional integrations for intra-provincial solutions, providing experience on maintainability and long-term lifecycles that extend beyond initial implementation.
• Experience with interoperable Electronic Health Record solutions and the integration(s) required to support the iEHR business.
• Demonstrated experience in transformational projects acting as an architect with proven capabilities mentoring technical teams.
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Pan Canadian Standards including HL7 V2, V3 (MR2009 and CeRx) and FHIR;
• Demonstrated experience working with Identity and Access Management Solutions, as well as OIDC Flows, is considered an asset

• Hybrid role- significant time on site in Fredericton is expected for this role. Resources are expected to be available on-site in Fredericton with minimal notice.
