The Role:
Based in downtown Toronto you will be a key member of the Merchandising team that brings Virgin Plus brand to life in all retail channels.
Manager, Marketing Communications, as the Specialist, Marketing Communications (Retail) you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of in store printed/digital materials and fixtures/experiences to elevate our brand and promote our value proposition in our retail channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Visual Merchandising ensures stores are executing programs and initiatives as designed.
- Oversee Retail Execution inbox/account to support field with trouble tickets, inquiries, adhoc requests, flags, etc.
- Manage the distribution of digital signage content to branded, dealer, and partner locations across vendors.
- Create strong creative briefs that lead to compelling communications and experiences in retail environments;
- Support the creation & development of printed and digital deliverables for our brand stores and national channels;
- Liaise with creative agencies for content and creative development;
- Collaborate with key partners and across Retail Planning, Brand, Marketing, Channel Marketing, Retail IT, and thirdparty vendors as required;
- Managing adhoc competitive responses across retail marketing including brochure, Digital Signage, printable poster updates.
- Support for collateral orders and shipments with warehouse
- Support for VMS (visual merchandising system) collateral & marketingrelating ticketing & ongoing system updates;
Critical Qualifications:
- 2+ years in a marketing, communications or advertising role postsecondary or related experience
- Experience working in or interacting with the retail industry
- Microsoft Office wiz, background in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & illustrator) is an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong project coordination skills
- Experience in working with creative agencies and vendors

Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
