GENERAL FUNCTION

• The Senior Data Analyst will be a part of the Enterprise analytics team spearheading Data Analytics around Key Financial KPIs. The role will revolve around expert level usage on Tableau, SQL and Python.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generate, optimize, and share output of recurring reports for stakeholders across multiple business functions.
• The Senior Data Analyst will require the following skills:
  • Advanced SQL coding for Dataset preparations
  • Expert level skills in Tableau Dashboard development using advanced expressions, multi-level drill down capabilities which could deliver Quick insights for stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge on Python scripting for Data extraction, preparation, and automation of scripts for downstream reporting.
  • (As needed) ETL processes related to that data to get it into a proper format for ingestion by Tableau reports
  • Managing a queue of reporting requests related to report enhancements, reporting bug fixes, and new report creation
  • Day to Day support on Tableau Desktop and Tableau server report creation, refreshing, bug-fixing, and enhancements
  • Tableau reporting automation (e.g., via Python scripting and SQL scripting)
  • Knowledge on Analytics based Python libraries such Pandas, Numba and Scikit and MatplotLib

EDUCATION

• Required: A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Decision Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or Economics.

EXPERIENCE

• Required: At least 7 years of experience in the area of Data Analytics. (Experience within the financial services industry is a plus.)
• Required: At least 4 years of experience working with Tableau.
• Preferred: Tableau Specialist Certified, Python libraries and methodologies: Data Frame APIs, Pandas, Numpy, JSON Lib
