    RDJ Bakeries , a distinguished food manufacturer renowned for its exceptional crackers, is seeking talented individuals to join our growing Research & Development team.

    With a focus on quality and innovation, we collaborate with global partners to deliver delightful, delectable treats that captivate our customers.

    The Senior Research & Development Technologist will be involved in creating new recipes that will fill the needs within the company sales process.

    Collaborates and support with the formulation of new innovations, researching and sourcing ingredients, conducting benchtop testing, coordinating, and attending plant trials, and bringing the organization's visions to life.

    Strategize, design, and develop testing plans and protocols for new products that meet quality and business targets while ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

    Execute experiments at all scales, gathering and analyzing data, documenting, and reporting results, and making recommendations that are data driven to meet company strategic goals.

    Own and support new product start-up and lead operational troubleshooting for first 3 production run.

    Support Regulatory Compliance and QA initiatives to assure all specifications (formulation, labelling) are accurately developed and compliant with regulations.

    Support overall timeline development and project management initiatives.

    Responsible for the maintaining and supporting of the team to achieve operational success during trial and first 3 production runs.

    Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Safety, and Food Defense guidelines.
    Comply with all Company policies and procedures.

    Bachelor of Science in Food Science, Food Engineering, or equivalent.
    Bakery-specific product experience required.
    Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and quality control protocols.
    Typing involved.
